The concept behind this collection is emotions, in particular the layers of feelings behind "an emotion". The idea is that there are many different layers to one emotion, that can be seen in each look. To convey these emotions different colours, silhouettes and materials are used to simulate feeling attached to the emotion, as such the garments can also be layered in different ways, as some of the feelings behind each emotion may overlap.
This collection was designed as a wearable art collection. Many people may find it hard to explain or communicate emotions verbally so I wanted to create a collection where emotions are communicated visually, just like how many people may communicate the mood or feeling of the day by how their dress or through their artwork.
